Rules and Regulations

  • Every student is expected to strictly follow all the rules and regulations of the college and maintain disciplined and respectful behavior at all times and in all situations.
  • Students must attend classes regularly and on time. They should avoid any activity that may disturb the smooth functioning of the college.
  • During class hours, students should enter or leave the classroom only with the permission of the concerned teacher.
  • Students should not waste time in corridors or around the campus during free periods. They are expected to utilize this time in the library or reading room.
  • All students must take proper care of college property. Furniture, buildings, and the campus should be kept clean and well-maintained. Writing, scratching, or damaging walls, doors, windows, or furniture is strictly prohibited.
  • Any damage caused to college property will be recovered from the concerned student(s) or collectively from all students, as deemed appropriate.
  • The use of megaphones, loudspeakers, mobile phones, or similar devices within the campus is allowed only with the permission of the Principal. Displaying posters, flags, banners, or decorations in the campus without permission is not allowed.
  • Students should not invite or encourage outsiders to enter the college premises.
  • Any form of ragging, harassment, bullying, threatening behavior, or use of inappropriate language—especially towards junior students and girls—is strictly prohibited. Such acts are punishable offenses under law and will be reported to the police immediately. Disciplinary actions may include:
  1. Imprisonment up to 2 years
  2. Fine up to ₹10,000
  3. Expulsion from the college
  • Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session. Latecomers will be allowed to enter the class only with the permission of the teacher.
  • Absence for more than four days due to illness must be supported by a medical certificate along with a written application.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the student to maintain the required minimum attendance (75% annually). As per university rules, a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for examinations. The college expects attendance higher than the minimum requirement. Parents are advised to regularly monitor their ward’s attendance through the concerned department.
  • Any additional rules and regulations framed by the Management and the Principal from time to time shall also be binding on all students.
